Iris ( In Memory of Matt Porter)

I created this visual story while contemplating life and death due to the sudden leaving of my dear friend Matt Porter who died at the age of 50 from a heart attack in November 2020. I gathered a group of friends, amazing women, with their unique talents to help me in creating this body of work. I believe in the power of collaboration when everyone brings something unique...an idea, a talent, a skill...you name it and create something that would never be possible in a lonely battle.

This video has an intentionally slow pace for you, the viewer, to be able to contemplate the details and the message. The message is universal, which speaks to every individual in their own personal way.
